Dr. Ehrensberger’s research interests encompass the areas of orthopedic biomaterials and biomechanics. Specific topics include electrochemical characterization of established and next generation metallic orthopaedic biomaterials, implant corrosion mechanisms, biological and electrochemical interactions at the surface of metal implants, surface chemistry analysis, development of novel methods prevention/eradication of device-related biofilms infections, mechanical assessment of hard and soft tissue repairs commonly utilized in orthopaedics, and development of novel test methods and instrumentation.

Jenna Ferrentino

Staff Assistant

 

Graduated from Bryant & Stratton College with an AOS degree in Administration. Upon completion in 2013, Ms. Ferrentino will obtain an AOS in Medical Administration from Bryant & Stratton College.

Ms. Ferrentino has an extensive background in Office Management. Prior to coming to the lab, she worked for Kaleida Health and Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Her current duties in the lab include Budget Management, Personnel Administration, Research Funding Opportunies, and Purchasing, as well as providing any administrative assistance to the lab staff and students.
